At the beginning of September, the OECD forecast that the British economy will contract by 4.7% in 2009, while the rest of the G7 (developed) economies will contract by 3.7%. So that's not good news for us.

Unemployment is very high in the Eurozone and America, and the OECD also said that demand will be moderate, and the global recovery will be weakened because of it....

Your Financial Goals

Financial Goals can be very long-term, so it is essential to keep an eye on things and evaluate how they are doing from time to time. Sometimes people who don't do that suddenly realise that what they have is not doing well, is out of date, or they don't understand it any more because it's so long since they looked at it

Then they seek advice because they need to know that their plans are on track, and that there isn't a better or cheaper way of reaching their goals.

I can do short reviews for this purpose. This can be on a fee basis so you know for sure that I'm not going to push any products, because I'm getting paid for my time anyway.

In any event, the first hour I spend on a client's affairs is free and without obligation, precisely so that both of us can judge whether it's worth spending any more time on. So you have nothing to lose.

Most of my clients are UK resident. I can work with clients who are not resident here (except non UK EU residents), advice being given when they are visiting the UK. I can deal with long-distance clients by telephone, email and post (we usually meet occasionally, as everyone likes to ‘put a face to the name’).
