If there is anything I cannot deal with, I will try to find someone who can help, for example with commercial borrowing.
I can help you to think through all the different types of mortgage and repayment schemes, and to decide which features are most important to you.
I know that it is a struggle for many people to get onto the housing ladder, and I think that it is really important not to over-stretch on borrowing, and risk losing your home.
If you already have a mortgage, which is coming to the end of a fixed term, you may need to re-mortgage. I can help you find a new deal to suit your requirements.
The credit crunch is currently making it very difficult for many people to get new mortgaages or change existing ones. I keep up to date with new offers in the market-place, and when the situation eases, I will be able to help clients take advantage of the best options available via IFAs.
I do not normally charge a fee for this type of advice. If your circumstances are such that I might do several hours' work for you without recompense, I will discuss fees with you before starting the work. For example, if I provide you with a written recommendation and you then decide not to proceed, a fee of £500 may be payable.
